Dégagé Ministries offers emotional, spiritual, and social support to people living on the streets and in the neighborhood known as Heartside. Most of the residents of this part of Grand Rapids live on less than $15,000 a year and suffer from some form of mental illness and other disabilities.
Dégagé provides low-cost meals and a place to sit down and build relationships seven nights a week. St. Luke’s helps to serve these meals on the second Friday of the month.
