At St. Luke's, we believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that this God loves us with an everlasting love. It is out of this love that ...
§ God created the heavens and the earth.
§ God speaks to us through the Holy Scriptures and reveals his love through the living Word, Jesus, who is the Son of God.
§ God sent Jesus to be born into our world so that all who believe in him might have eternal life.
§ Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the whole world and rose from the dead on the third day.
§ God offers us forgiveness of sins and eternal life as a gift of grace and gives us the faith we need to trust in God's love and believe God's promises.
§ God offers the gifts of new life and forgiveness of sin through Christ’s sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.
§ The Holy Spirit, through Word and Sacraments, calls us to faith gathers us into the fellowship of the church leads us into all truth makes us holy by forgiving our sins empowers us to live a new life and keeps us in the one truth faith.
We believe that every disciple of Jesus is called to be a minister. So all members of the Church are challenged and encouraged to use their gifts, time, and resources in service to God, for God has sent us all out into the world to share God's love in words and actions and to invite others to come and see Jesus.
